The impact of the environment in the purpose of praise in the book (khreidat Al-Qasr and jaridat Al-Asr) by the author Emad al-Din al-asbhani (d. 597 Ah. (English)

The environment plays a fundamental role in the production of poetry. It is often said that poets are the products of their environment. The environment has a clear impact on poets in terms of their style and their choice of simple and reader-friendly words, which do not require linguistic dictionaries but suit the readers. The Abbasid era was a period of cultural cross-pollination, where the meaning conveyed the poet's intention effortlessly. The influence of the environment in praising and lauding the caliphs, princes, and ministers is evident through the words used. Poets praised individuals who were prominent figures in their time. The purpose of praise, which was a significant portion of Arabic poetry over the ages during the reign of the Abbasids, was epitomized in works such as "Khuraydat al-Qasr" and "Jaridat al-Asr." Their poems took various forms, including long poems and verses integrated with other themes such as lineage and war. Additionally, their poetry extended to praising the Prophet's family and companions by highlighting their beautiful qualities and virtues. The Abbasid environment significantly influenced the poets, to the extent that they wrote poems praising cities, their surrounding orchards, towering buildings, and more. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

تُعَ دَّ البيئة العامل األساسي في إنتاج الشعر, ويقال إ ّن الشاعر ابن البيئة, فالبيئة هي التي تخلق األثر الواضح من الشعراء, وإن أسلو ِب الشعراء وأختيارهم األلفاظ البسيطة والسهلة التي ال تحتاج الى معجم اللغوي بل تالئم القارئ, وإن العصر العباسي هو عصر تالقح الثقافات, فالمعنى عندهم يؤدي الغرض الذي اراده الشاعر دون جهد, فأثر البيئة في غرض المديح وأضح باأللفاظ التي يمدحون بها الخلفاء واألمراء والوزراء, وإن الشعراء مدحوا اصحاب الحرف التي شكلت معالم بارزه في عصرهم, قد شكل غرض المديح في كتاب (خريدة القصر وجريدة العصر)نسبة كبيرة في مجمل الشعر العربي الذي قيل عبر العصور التي عاشها في ظل الحكم العربي من حكام العباسيين, وجاءت قصائدهم على شكل قصائد طوال, ومقطوعات مزجت مع أغراض أخرى مثل النسيب والحرب ولم يكتف هنا بل نجد في شعرهم مدح آل البيت والصحابة بذكر الصفات والمناقب الجميلة, وظهر بفعل البيئة العباسية التي أثرت في الشاعر, بحيث جعل هذا األمر له اهمية بحيث كتبوا قصائد بمدح المدن وما يحيطها من البساتين والبناء العالي الشاهق وغيرهم .
