    • Abstract:
The paper presents a dynamic model with 4 degrees of freedom that allows the study of pitch and swing bounce vibrations for independent suspensions. Based on this model and the results obtained, an electronic control system of a semi-active suspension can be achieved. The displacement equations obtained by applying the theorem of the center of mass and the kinetic moment are presented in matrix form. Based on this information, the influence of travel speed and the value of damping constants of the suspension shock absorbers on the amplification factors of displacement amplitudes and dynamic forces at the two wheels is studied. At the end of the paper, the results obtained on a numerical application with the data of a medium class car are presented and interpreted. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
