- Abstract: Introduction: research training is a priority in the quality training of professionals in the Nursing area at the University of Buenos Aires. Objective: to describe the planning experiences of the Commission of the Research and Knowledge Management Area of the University of Buenos Aires in the research potentialization of the Nursing career. Methods: a qualitative hermeneutic phenomenological phenomenological research study was carried out, focused on documentary and historical-logical analysis, complemented with literature review and data collection from the academic community. Development: the purposes of the Commission, the agenda of objectives and operational activities and the procedures and mechanisms for their fulfillment were determined. The lines of research, criteria for the presentation of projects, incentives for research and scientific publication, and criteria for seeking funding were outlined. At the institutional level, the goals, advantages and opportunities for the success of the commission were identified, as well as the production indicators for monitoring the expected results. Conclusions: with the foundation of the Commission, we aspire to the visibility and institutionalization of progress and partial and final results in the evolution of the interventions in the university community. To this end, goals and management indicators were established, planned both in the medium and long term. The established guidelines will result in the formation of a community of professionalized actors that dialogue in epistemic, methodological, statistical, knowledge management and science terms based on critical-reflective thinking. - Abstract: Introducción: la formación investigativa constituye una prioridad en la formación de calidad de profesionales del área Enfermería en la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Objetivo: describir las experiencias en materia de planificación de la Comisión del Área de Investigación y Gestión del Conocimiento de la Universidad de Buenos Aires en la potencialización investigativa de la carrera de Enfermería. Métodos: se realizó una investigación de estudio cualitativo fenomenológico hermenéutico focalizado en el análisis documental e histórico-lógico, complementado con revisión de literatura y recogida de datos de la comunidad académica. Desarrollo: se determinaron los propósitos de la Comisión, la agenda de objetivos y actividades operativas y los procedimientos y mecanismos para su cumplimiento. Se trazaron las líneas de investigación, los criterios para la presentación de proyectos, los estímulos a la investigación y publicación científica y criterios para la búsqueda de financiación. A nivel institucional se identificaron las metas, las ventajas y oportunidades para el éxito de la comisión, así como los indicadores de producción para el monitoreo de resultados esperados. Conclusiones: con la fundación de la Comisión se aspira a la visibilidad e institucionalización de avances y resultados parciales y finales en el devenir de las intervenciones en la comunidad universitaria. Para ello, se trazaron las metas e indicadores de gestión, planificados tanto a mediano como largo plazo. Los lineamientos establecidos devendrán en la formación de una comunidad de actores profesionalizados que dialogan en términos epistémicos, metodológicos, estadísticos, de gestión del conocimiento y de la ciencia basados en el pensamiento críticoreflexivo.
