- Alternate Title:
NUTRITION OF NURSES IN SHIFT WORK. (English)
- Abstract:
The work of nurses is conditioned by several shifts. Hence, the shifts dictate changes in mental and physical readiness of the nurses, and pose a challenge in ensuring regular and healthy eating in all shifts, and especially during night work. In the first part of the article, we present what kind of health risks the shift work poses for nurses. In the second part, we focus on a review of the literature and key findings of the authors on the nutrition of nurses working in shifts and possible improvements in everyday practice. - Abstract:
