Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan, Sikap dan Praktik Swamedikasi Obat Herbal di Masyarakat Kelurahan Sukorame Kota Kediri pada Masa Pandemi COVID-19. (Indonesian)

Travel restrictions during COVID-19 combined with concerns about viral infections have caused people to choose to self-medicate. Data showed that there was a 25% increase in self-medication patterns during the pandemic. This research aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes towards the practice of herbal medicine self-medication in the Sukorame Village community during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was a non-experimental study with a cross-sectional approach. The total sample was 99 respondents with inclusion criteria for the Sukorame Village community who had self-medicated with herbal medicine. Data collection was carried out through a survey using a questionnaire. From the results of the Chi-Square correlation analysis, a significant correlation was found between the level of knowledge (p= 0.019) and attitude (p= 0.015) with the practice of herbal medicine self-medication. The results of the logistic regression on the level of knowledge and attitudes towards the practice of herbal medicine self-medication obtained a value of p=0.012 with OR values of 5.104 and 5.449 respectively. From this research, it can be concluded that there was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes towards the practice of herbal medicine self-medication in the Sukorame Village community, Kediri City during the COVID-19 pandemic. Retriksi perjalanan selama COVID-19 di tambah dengan kekhawatiran infeksi virus menyebabkan masyarakat memilih untuk melakukan swamedikasi. Data menunjukan sebanyak 25% terdapat kenaikan pola swamedikasi selama masa pandemi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap praktik swamedikasi obat herbal di masyarakat Kelurahan Sukorame pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non-eksperimental dengan pendekatancross-sectional. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 99 responden dengan kriteria inklusi masyarakat Kelurahan Sukorame yang pernah melakukan swamedikasi obat herbal. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui survei menggunakan kuesioner. Dari hasil analisis korelasi Chi-Square didapatkan korelasi yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan (p= 0,019) dan sikap (p= 0,015) dengan praktik swamedikasi obat herbal. Hasil regresi logistik tingkat pengetahuan, sikap terhadap praktik swamedikasi obat herbal didapatkan nilai p=0,012 dengan masingmasing nilai OR sebesar 5,104 dan 5,449. Dari penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap praktik swamedikasi obat herbal di masyarakat Kelurahan Sukorame Kota Kediri pada masa pandemi COVID-19.
