    • Abstract:
The article discusses the production process of the film "Maestro," a biopic about Leonard Bernstein. The filmmakers faced challenges in recreating the look and feel of Bernstein's life and work, including reconstructing his apartment, sourcing equipment for the desired film texture, creating costumes for conducting movements, and using prosthetics to transform Bradley Cooper into Bernstein at different stages of his life. The decision to film certain sequences in one continuous shot and the use of multiple microphones to capture the music in Dolby Atmos are also highlighted. Despite these challenges, the filmmakers were able to create an authentic portrayal of classical music. [Extracted from the article]
