    • Abstract:
Sinop, a strategically important city in history, has felt the need to defend against the dangers of being a widespread settlement in almost every period. Even today, traces of defensive structures can be found in the city. For this reason, it is possible to see how the inner castle changed over the years and how it was shaped according to needs from the Hellenistic period to the Ottoman period. This study aims to examine how the structure changes according to periods. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
