    • Abstract:
The article provides an overview of the recent Synod on Synodality in the Catholic Church, which has generated mixed reactions among Catholics. While the synod addressed important topics such as women's roles, LGBTQ inclusion, and clergy sex abuse, some individuals are disappointed by the lack of substantial change in these areas. The synthesis document called for further study on women's ordained ministries and did not mention LGBTQ individuals. However, many participants view the synodal process as a positive step towards a more inclusive and responsive Church, even though the pace of change is perceived as slow by some progressive Catholics.
