- Abstract:
A recent study conducted at the University of Peshawar in Pakistan focused on the production of tamoxifen nanoparticles for drug delivery purposes. The researchers used a quality by design approach to optimize the nanoparticles, altering the amount of drug, polymer, and surfactant to analyze their impact on particle size and encapsulation efficiency. The results showed that the drug and polymer had an influence on particle size, while the surfactant did not. The nanoparticles were found to be thermally stable and followed the Higuchi model for drug release. This research provides valuable insights into the development of efficient drug delivery systems using nanoparticles. [Extracted from the article]
