      The article discusses the challenges faced by publishers in promoting Indigenous-language literature in Mexico. Topics include the importance of Indigenous languages in preserving cultural traditions; role of translation in expanding the reach of these works; tension between Spanish and English as vehicles for exposure, given the historical suppression of Indigenous languages in Mexico and canon of Indigenous literature through translation to bridge the gap between readership & global audience.
