- Abstract: The research aimed at designing a computer software to develop environmental education among school students in the suburbs of Yemeni cities, and to know the effect of the difference in demographic variables for teachers and students in the suburbs of cities in terms of gender (male - female), city (Sana'a- Amran), category (teacher - student), and school (public - private) on their opinions on environmental problems. The research uses descriptive analytical, and constructive methodology. The researcher designed a questionnaire to detect environmental problems and distributed it to a sample of secondary school teachers and students. The number was (335) teachers and students. Objectives, content, and scenario were prepared as an input for designing the software. The most important results of the research are that the general average level of environmental problems in the suburbs of Yemeni cities from the point of view of secondary school teachers and students was at a high level, and the problems of desertification ranked first at a high level, followed by the problems of weak environmental education, then the problems of waste, and in the last place the problems of pollution.. The results also confirmed that there is no effect of the difference in demographic variables of teachers and students in the suburbs of cities in terms of gender and school type on their opinions about environmental problems in the suburbs of Yemeni cities. There is an impact of the difference in demographic variables for teachers and students in the suburbs of cities, in terms of city in favor of the city of Sana'a, and category in favor of the teacher category, on their opinions on environmental problems in the suburbs of Yemeni cities. - Abstract: هدف البحث إلى تصميم برمجية حاسوبية لتنمية التربية البيئية لدى طلبة المدارس في ضواحي المدن اليمنية، ومعرفة أثر اختالف المتغيرات الديموغرافية لمعلمي وطلبة ضواحي المدن من حيث الجنس )ذكر - أنثى(، والمدينة )أمانة العاصمة صنعاء – عمران(، والفئة )معلم – طالب(، ونوع المدرسة )حكومية – أهلية( على آرائهم في المشكالت البيئية. واستخدم البحث المنهجي الوصفي التحليلي، والبنائي، وقام الباحث بتصميم استبانة للكشف عن المشكالت البيئية، ووزعت على عينة من معلمي وطلبة المدارس الثانوية وكان عددهم )335( معلما وطالبا، وتم إعداد أهداف ومحتوى وسيناريو كمتطلبات لتصميم البرمجية. وتمثلت أهم نتائج البحث في أن المتوسط العام لمستوى المشكالت البيئية في ضواحي المدن اليمنية من وجهة نظر معلمي وطلبة المدارس الثانوية كان بمستوى عال، وحلت مشكالت التصحر في المرتبة األولى بمستوى عال، يليها مشكالت ضعف التربية البيئية، ثم مشكالت المخلفات، وفي المرتبة األخيرة مشكالت التلوث. كما أكدت النتائج بأنه ال يوجد أثر الختالف المتغيرات الديموغرافية لمعلمي وطلبة ضواحي المدن من حيث الجنس، ونوع المدرسة على آرائهم في المشكالت البيئية في ضواحي المدن اليمنية. مع وجود أثر الختالف المتغيرات الديموغرافية لمعلمي وطلبة ضواحي المدن من حيث المدينة لصالح ضواحي أمانة العاصمة صنعاء، والفئة لصالح فئة المعلم على آرائهم في المشكالت البيئية في ضواحي المدن اليمنية، وتم تصميم برمجية تشتمل على التعليمات واألهداف العامة ووحدات البرمجية.
