      The aim of this research was to determine the mediating role of resilience in the effect of perceived social support on fear of COVID-19. The research was conducted in the Marmara region of Turkey in July and August 2020. The present research showed that the perceived social support has a positive effect on resilience. Furthermore, the research determined that both perceived social support and resilience has a negative effect on the fear of COVID-19. Finally, it was determined that resilience has a mediating role in the effect of perceived social support on the fear of COVID-19. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
