- Additional Information
- Alternate Title:
Bactericidal activity of anti-ABO antibodies in isolated colonies from Escherichia coli. (English)
- Subject Terms:
- Abstract:
The research article titled "Bactericidal activity of anti-ABO antibodies in isolated colonies of Escherichia coli" analyzes the action of ABO antibodies on susceptibility to infectious diseases. An in vitro bactericidal test was performed using blood samples from volunteers of different blood groups, and it was concluded that anti-ABO antibodies have a bactericidal effect at high concentrations of bacteria. The study was conducted by researchers from the Universidade do Vale do Itajaí in Brazil. It is suggested to conduct further studies to explore other variables that may influence the results.
