    • Abstract:
In this study, a pulsed laser ablation was used to process and produce NiO NPs nanoparticles in deionized water. It was prepared using nickel pellets placed in deionized water at room temperature and using an Nd:YAG laser with a high wavelength of 1064 nm and 500 mJ at different frequencies (4, 6, 8) Hz. The concentrations of the prepared substance were measured. The concentrations of these particles were then measured. X-ray diffraction was used to study their structures (XRD). Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and EDX were used to examine the samples. A PL spectra assay was performed to calculate the optical power gap. To find out the efficacy of the prepared nanomaterial, we test its cytotoxicity, as the test was performed on normal cell line (HdFn) and the human pancreatic cancer line (Capan-2). The percentage of cytotoxicity was calculated after 24 h of exposure. We conclude that the compound has the potential to be a good anti-cancer. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
