The article discusses that the U.S. Federal Communications Commission's (FCC's) report highlights the impact of the COVID-19 Telehealth Program and the Connected Care Pilot Program on healthcare providers' use of telehealth services. While the Connected Care Pilot Program is in its early stages, initial reports show a 10-20 percent increase in patients served via telehealth. Both programs have improved patient care and outcomes, as well as conserving resources.
