The article discusses the potential for a new European order as the European Union (EU) considers expanding and adapting its structure. However, significant challenges, including political, economic, and structural reforms, need to be addressed for this enlargement to occur. The EU is also contemplating internal changes to accommodate the potential influx of new member states. EU leaders are meeting to discuss the enlargement process.
