      The article reports that about 25 women gathered at the Amelia Beach in North Bay, Ontario on May 25, 2005 to plant sacred plants, such as sage and strawberries, to honour women in the community who have suffered from abuse. The planting, organized by Amelia Rising Sexual Assault Centre to coincide with Sexual Abuse Prevention Month, is symbolic of new beginnings.
