      The article comments on a study which investigated the experience of people living with young onset dementia (YOD) and their care partners with driving cessation. It discusses the impact of driving cessation on the well-being of people with YOD and the difficulty in caring for people with YOD. Emphasis is given on the need for family members and health professionals to provide emotional and social support to people living with YOD and to help them identify transport alternatives.
