    • Abstract:
Improving overall health literacy is an important part of China's “Healthy China” strategy, and the health information dissemination service carried out by public libraries is the basic proposition and development orientation of national macro strategies such as response. At present, there is a single source of information and a limited scope of services in the field of providing health information services in China's public libraries, and there is still a large gap in health information services at the supply and demand levels. In this paper, 12 public libraries in the United States are selected through literature analysis and network survey methods and their health information dissemination services are investigated. Studies have shown that the United States public libraries have basically formed a wide range of public health literacy communication system, service content diversification and rich strategies, and it is recommended that domestic public libraries start with China's relevant national strategies as the entry point, actively use digital technology, introduce professional talents, strengthen social force cooperation and other ways to provide useful enlightenment for China's library field to provide high-quality health information services.
