- Abstract:
This article focuses on Banksy, Great Britain's most notorious graffiti artist. He wears a ski mask or a trench coat and fake moustache. Banksy made global headlines in late March 2005, striking at New York's big museums, the Brooklyn Museum, the Met and the Museum of Natural History. He didn't steal anything, but rather placed his own work on their walls. Camille Morineau, curator with the Centre Pompidou in Paris, France, says that people put up paintings on their walls about once a month.
