    • Abstract:
This article looks at the life of people in television. It discusses how almost everybody in TV works too hard. It relates how everyone is consumed by the business of competition and almost everyone by management of his or her own reputation. The author asserts that participants in the industry engage in the daily contest to be better than the person in the next office, in the next firm. To be better than the year before. To deliver on expectations. To be the person respected by the market, by customers, by colleagues, by themselves.
