      Este artículo tiene como objetivo fundamentar la incorporación de elementos de la cultura local contenidos en la Monografía Cultural del Municipio Baraguá a la implementación del programa de la asignatura Historia de Cuba en las carreras Licenciatura en Educación Preescolar y en Educación Primaria de la Filial Universitaria Municipal de Baraguá. Los métodos fundamentales utilizados fueron el análisis documental, observación y entrevistas a docentes que imparten la asignatura. El empleo de estos métodos y el análisis realizado permitió constatar que el programa no contempla el vínculo con elementos de la cultura local que sí están abordados a fondo en la Monografía Cultural del Municipio, conocida por los profesores y con excelente disposición para insertarla en el programa de la asignatura. Se demuestra que la distribución de contenidos por temas en la asignatura Historia de Cuba posibilita el establecimiento de la relación con los elementos que se abordan en los diferentes capítulos de la Monografía y se establece la pertinencia de este vínculo por el aporte a la formación de los estudiantes y al desarrollo profesional de los docentes.     • Abstract:
      The objective of this article is to support the incorporation of elements of the local culture contained in the Cultural Monograph of the Baraguá Municipality to the implementation of the program of the subject History of Cuba in the Bachelor's Degrees in Preschool Education and in Primary Education of the Municipal University Branch of Baraguá. The fundamental methods used were documentary analysis, observation and interviews to teachers who teach the subject. The use of these methods and the analysis carried out made it possible to confirm that the program does not contemplate the link with elements of the local culture that are thoroughly approached in the Cultural Monograph of the Municipality, known by the teachers and with an excellent disposition to insert it in the program of the subject. It is demonstrated that the distribution of contents by topics in the subject History of Cuba makes possible the establishment of the relationship with the elements that are addressed in the different chapters of the Monograph and the relevance of this link is established for the contribution to the training of students and the professional development of teachers.
