      The article presents a research guide on the life and works of author Evelyn Waugh. Waugh was born on October 28, 1903 in Hampstead, England, to Arthur and Catherine Raban Waugh. In 1917, he entered Lancing College and won a scholarship to Hertford College, Oxford in 1921. He married Evelyn Gardner and divorced two years after. In 1945, he won the Gallery of Living Catholic Authors award for his work Brideshead Revisited. He also won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for the book Men at Arms in 1952. Waugh died on April 4, 1966 at Combe Florey after attending Easter Mass.
