      The article presents a research guide on the life and works of author Robert Penn Warren. Warren was born on April 24, 1905 in Guthrie, Kentucky. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a master of art degree in 1927. Between 1927-1928, he attended Yale University. His works include John Brown, Night Brown, Thirty-Six Poems, All King's Men and Who Speaks for the Negro? among others. Warren was awarded the National Medal of Literature in 1970. From 1978 to the present he continues to write and publish collections of poetry.
