The work is the continuity of an approach which has an important element of the jesuit reductions’ material culture: images, which had the function of evangelizing indigeneous by jesuit fathers, generating an effective preaching. From an interdisciplinary perspective -mainly, history of art and archaeology- this article analyzes arenisca stone 's images: Virgin, Headless Saint, Santa Verónica, Santa Bárbara or Holy Virgin and San José with the Child. The objective is to present a mapping and record about trajectory of these images from those guaraníes’ missions, and analyze their later and current contexts: urban environment of Concepción de la Sierra and Apóstoles -in Misiones´ province-, La Plata Museum, Enrique Udaondo’s Museum Complex -in Buenos Aires- observing continuities and changes in their biographies, which serve as a bridge between the historical past and the present heritage.
