    • Abstract:
This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the application of digital flipbook training media sweet bread variations on the results of training participants' knowledge. This effectiveness measurement was carried out at the Pastry Bakery Laboratory, Culinary Education Study Program located in Building H, Jakarta State University. The use of the method in this study was a pre-experiment with a sample of 20 bread trainees. Data was collected by filling out a research instrument of pre-test and post-test multiple-choice questions of 30 questions. Question items have been tested for validity so that valid results are obtained on each item with a value greater than or equal to 0.3; then a reliability test was carried out with very reliable results of 0.95; and tested the level of difficulty of the question items obtained by the results of 7 points in the medium difficulty category and 23 points in the easy difficulty category. The test results of the normality test analysis requirements obtained a significance result P pre-test 0.34 and post-test 0.40 the data were normally distributed. The homogeneity test obtained a significance result P pre-test 0.73 and post-test 0.36 the data has homogeneous data variance. The results of the data analysis technique obtained an average pre-test score of 54.83 and an average post-test score of 84.33, meaning that there was a difference in value of 29.5. The paired sample T test hypothesis test produces a significance value of 0.001 and the N-gain test produces a score of 0.67. It can be concluded that the application of digital flipbook training media sweet bread variations is considered effective on the results of training participants' knowledge because there is a significant increase in knowledge from pre-test and post-test results that have been tested with paired sample T in the medium category obtained from the N-gain test results. • Abstract:
