    • Abstract:
The article discusses research which demonstrated a method for using chemical specific toxicokinetic values to estimate the contribution of drinking water to serum perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) levels compared to non-drinking water exposures. Data shows the calculation of predicted serum PFOA levels for lifetime mean water intake. The implication of PFOA exposures for public health is discussed.
