The article discusses evidence for the safe return of children to in-personal school setting with COVID-19 testing. Topics include the launch of the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics Underserved Populations (RADx-UP) Safe Return to School Diagnostic Initiative by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in 2021, important lessons learned from collaborative research with tools and their communities, and results of NIH's investment in the RADx-Up school projects.
