- Abstract:
Iftakhar jalib was a renowned literary figure of sixties who tried to set a new era of modern urdu poetry. He had an extensive peruse of modern philosophy, linguistic & art so, in the light of his spacious perusal he try to change the traditional perspective of urdu poetry specially urdu poem which was an excelling way of his disclosure. On the way of his literary & poetical struggle he set hyper-modernist trend in criticism & poetry called Liasni-Tashkeelat.Near 1958 he with other companions based a new poetical movement named ' Naie Shairi ki Tahreek' many notable poets like Jeelani Kamran, Anees Nagi, Abbas Athar, Zahid DAR, Saleem-ur Rahman, Abdul Rasheed, Aftab Iqbal Shamim, Saadat Saeed joined him in the struggle of literary innovation & enriched the lap of urdu poetry with oner jems of art. Iftakhar Jalib's Lisani Tashkeelat are nodes to follow and expostulate for common readers & critics therefore he & his art faced a potent criticism by accustomed poets & critics. His poetic asset hasn't aesthetics sense in traditional way but demands highly literate reader for its comprehension which was nearly impossible at a broad so this Movement & Lesani Tashkeelat couldn't prevail in common way. In this article I have tried to adumbrate his art & its dynamics and also tried to delineate the true reason of his literary abortiveness. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
