The Special Issue compiles data on the role of metals in COVID-19 and focuses on other illnesses and biological processes that affect metal metabolism. We believe that the information provided in this Special Issue will be valuable to readers who are interested in metals and metal complexes/metal coordination compounds in general and to those interested in the role of elements in biological processes and diseases, including COVID-19.
