This article constitutes an approach to the history of Spanish translations during the Franco regime of the extraordinary narrator Eça de Queirós, surely the Portuguese author of all time most persecuted by the dictatorship. The vicissitudes experienced by his Obras completas are analysed in particular. Julio Gómez de la Serna translated and organized them in two volumes for the well-known Aguilar publishing house, undoubtedly the most important project at that time to disseminate the entire production of the Portuguese novelist. Published for the first time in 1948 after being subjected to the rigid control of censorship, its reissue was banned in the early 1950s. It was necessary to wait until the early 1960s for another edition of such Obras completas to be released in Spanish territory. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Este artículo constituye una aproximación a la historia de las traducciones españolas durante el régimen franquista del extraordinario narrador Eça de Queirós, seguramente el autor portugués de todos los tiempos más perseguido por la dictadura. Se analizan en especial las vicisitudes de sus Obras completas, que Julio Gómez de la Serna tradujo y organizó en dos tomos para la conocida editorial Aguilar, sin duda el proyecto de mayor importancia en dicha época para difundir la totalidad de la producción del novelista luso. Publicadas por primera vez en 1948 tras someterse al rígido control de la censura, su reedición se prohibió a comienzos de los años cincuenta. Hubo que esperar hasta principios de la década de los sesenta para que pudiese salir de la imprenta otra edición de tales Obras completas en territorio español. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
