- Abstract: This research presents a study involving the curricular perspective of the thematic approach. It seeks to broaden and deepen, through what has been disseminated by the Thematic Approach perspective, the gnosiological elements necessary for the apprehension of the themes with a look at the contributions and challenges. For this, three data sources were used: bibliographic research, interviews and material analysis. Such elements were analyzed through Discursive Textual Analysis and organized into three categories: I. Gnosiological elements necessary for the didactic-pedagogical process for the apprehension of the themes; II Gnosiological elements that cross the apprehension of the themes; and III. Gnosiological challenges and possibilities of overcoming. The results point to the need to develop didactic processes that are coherent with the curricular perspective, as well as signal the demand for emancipatory assessments, own materials, adequate training and the overcoming of the current curricular paradigm. - Abstract: Esta pesquisa apresenta um estudo envolvendo a perspectiva curricular da abordagem temática. Busca-se evidenciar, ampliar e aprofundar, por meio do que vem sendo disseminado pela perspectiva da Abordagem Temática, os elementos gnosiológicos necessários para a apreensão dos temas com um olhar para as contribuições e os desafios. Para isso, três fontes de dados foram utilizadas: pesquisa bibliográfica, entrevistas e análise de materiais. Tais elementos foram analisados por meio da análise textual discursiva e organizados em três categorias: I. Elementos gnosiológicos necessários ao processo didático-pedagógico para a apreensão dos temas; II Elementos gnosiológicos que atravessam a apreensão dos temas; e III. Desafios gnosiológicos e possibilidades de superação. Os resultados apontam para a necessidade do desenvolvimento de processos didáticos coerentes com a perspectiva curricular, bem como, sinalizam a demanda de avaliações emancipatórias, materiais próprios, formação adequada e a superação do atual paradigma curricular.
