The article discusses a case report of a patient who developed a hepatic arterioportal fistula (APF) after a penetrating stab wound to the liver, which was successfully treated with embolization. It also include the presentation and management of APFs, the rarity of APFs following penetrating trauma and the importance of early diagnosis and intervention through imaging techniques.
