- Abstract:
Composite materials are increasingly being developed and used in railway transport. Their application for creating innovative sleepers contributes to the sustainable development of the railway industry. In the article, through theoretical analysis of the properties of composite material and simplex-lattice design of the experiment, mathematical models of the properties of polymer composite were obtained, based on which the optimization problem of material composition of composite sleepers based on polyvinyl chloride, chalk and bamboo fiber was formulated. Optimization problem of the material composition of composite sleepers with the purpose of ensuring a minimum deviation of the calculated values (by solving the optimization problem) of material properties of composite sleepers from their rational values. The proposed approach can be universally applied to solve similar problems to determine the optimal composition not only for materials of composite sleepers, but also for that of other structures made from filled polymers.
