Antiglobalizm or Alterglobalizm? (English)

Globalization is an objective process of world economic development. Its beginning was caused by the impact of the scientific-technological revolution on all aspects of public life and especially on the economic system. The globalization of the economy dates back to the 90s of the last century. This process had some delays, most notably the global financial crisis of 2007-2009 and the global crisis caused by the Covid 19 pandemic. The globalization of economics has been viewed by many scholars in a predominantly positive light. They believed that globalization: • Provided significant acceleration of world economic growth; • Mitigation of the functioning of the capital economic system on a cyclical nature; • Reducing economic and social inequality between countries. The analysis of the period since the beginning of globalization shows that none of these tasks could be solved. On the contrary, the globalization of the economy has worsened some of the old contradictions and created new problems. Society's dissatisfaction with globalization led to the emergence of antiglobalization. The study argues that the main mistake of anti-globalists is to equate the process of globalization in general with the model of its mainstream orthodox liberal market economy, and questions the need to replace it with an alternative model (alterglobalism), which in our opinion should be based on the following principles: • Replacing the creation of fictitious wealth with the production of real wealth, ie refinancing the modern world economy; • Development and/or improvement of structures, mechanisms and methods of global economic regulation; • Humanization and ecologicalization of global economic development; • Establishing economic relations between the countries of the global economy based on the principles of equality and cooperation.
