    • Abstract:
The article presents the authors' narrative of a tour to the East of England. Around us, the bustle of a busy town, before us Norwich Cathedral — an oasis of calm and peace set in the largest close in England, where medieval and Georgian houses surround a beautifully tended green. Norwich is just one stop on the Eastern Cathedrals Trail that takes you through the historic fenland and gentle hills of the East of England to discover seven very deferent and very magnificent cathedrals: Chelmsford, St Albans, Ely, Peterborough, Lincoln, Norwich and Bury St. Edmunds.
