Análisis de las resoluciones de concursos públicos docentes: el perfil del profesor universitario de lenguaje y educación. (Spanish)

Analysis of the resolutions of public teaching competitions in Colombian universities: the profile of the university professor of language and education. (English)

Objective: To analyze the resolutions of 7 universities on public competitions to fill teaching positions in higher education in Colombia related to the areas of language (linguistics, literature and languages) and education, from 2015 to 2021. Specifically, we inquired about the professional profile demanded. Methodology: This is a descriptive-analytical study using the content analysis methodology. The documents indicating the requirements for registration, the resumes and the tests were analyzed based on the following categories: aspects evaluated, weighting and evaluation criteria of the tests. On this last aspect, a lexical analysis of the constants in the tests was made. Results: The data show an emphasis on disciplinary content, research and communicative competencies. The tests are not designed in terms of problems or projects and do not articulate research with teaching. There are no tests that really measure the pedagogical competencies of the applicants. Conclusions: The results of this work can be an input for Colombian universities to evaluate the competitions and, if necessary, modify the requirements and tests for access to teaching positions in the areas mentioned. Objetivo: Analizar las resoluciones de 7 universidades sobre concursos públicos para proveer cargos docentes en la educación superior en Colombia relacionados con las áreas del lenguaje (lingüística, literatura e idiomas) y la educación, desde 2015 hasta 2021. Específicamente se indagó sobre el perfil profesional que se demanda. Metodología: Se trata de un estudio descriptivo-analítico que utiliza la metodología análisis de contenido. Se analizaron los documentos donde se señalaban los requisitos para la inscripción, las hojas de vida y las pruebas, considerándolos con base en las siguientes categorías: aspectos evaluados, ponderación y criterios de evaluación de las pruebas. Sobre este último aspecto se hizo un análisis léxico de las constantes en las pruebas. Resultados: Los datos muestran un énfasis en los contenidos disciplinares, en investigación y en competencias comunicativas. Las pruebas no están pensadas en términos de problemas o proyectos y no articulan la investigación con la docencia. No hay pruebas que midan realmente las competencias pedagógicas de los aspirantes. Conclusiones: Los resultados de este trabajo pueden ser un insumo para que las universidades colombianas evalúen los concursos y, si es necesario, modifiquen los requisitos y pruebas para el acceso a cargos docentes en las áreas citadas.
