- Abstract: The article comments on Martha Stewart's image, now that she has left prison. Stewart has become a critic of sentencing guidelines, an in-house yoga teacher, and a jail nutritionist, according to her magazine's website. She will remain under house arrest. "The best thing for her image is that she went to prison," says Eric Dezenhall, who specializes in corporate crisis management. "The public feels she was harshly dealt with," says Jonathan Holiff, whose Los Angeles, California, company specializes in recruiting celebrities for product endorsements. "And the way she has handled her incarceration has only strengthened her appeal." The author contends that we hated Stewart too much when she was in trouble, and now we are much too desperate to redeem her.
