    • Abstract:
Specifically, he assesses new covenant ethics in relation to traditional covenant ethics, Reinhold Niebuhr's social ethics, John Howard Yoder, Stanley Hauerwas, and liberation ethics. In this recent analysis of the discipline of Christian ethics, Hak Joon Lee - Professor of Christian Ethics at Fuller Theological Seminary - offers an innovative view that seeks to root the field more deeply within the context of covenant. The different covenantal threads are interrelated and, Lee emphasizes, in order to understand one covenant in Scripture then one must understand the preceding covenants as well as subsequent covenants.
