    • Abstract:
Bridge basket operation has the advantages of convenience and low construction cost that has been widely used in bridge engineering. With the increase of the use of hanging basket, falling accidents caused by overturning, breaking of wire rope and illegal operation often occurs. All kinds of problems exist in the operation of hanging basket threaten the life safety of construction personnel. Proposes an intelligent monitoring system for hanging basket based on the Internet of Things. It can monitor the parts that are prone to problems in real time, and effectively avoid accidents in the construction process. The system can quickly understand the situation of the field through realtime uploaded data. The collected data can be used not only as a basis for adjusting parameters, but also to further optimize the system. The system has been tested in a bridge construction site in Guangzhou, which proves its effectiveness. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
