- Abstract:
Renault has placed great hopes in the Palencia and Valladolid factories in Spain to produce future models, engines, and high-tech developments. The new SUV model Austral relies on hybrid technology, all-wheel steering, and the latest infotainment systems. The Palencia factory uses modern technologies to reduce vehicle weight and introduces a new paint shop with a capacity of 63 vehicles per hour. The Renault Research and Development Center in Valladolid is working on electronics, software, electrification, and batteries. Renault plans to launch five new vehicles and is working on the development of new engines and transmissions. [Extracted from the article]
