    • Abstract:
      This study aims to examine the ecological status of the Aksaz wetland based on diatom indices and diatom community. Sampling was done between March 2020 and December 2020. 50 taxa belonging to benthic diatom flora were identified. Navicula Bory and Nitzschia Hassall genera were observed in all samples and constituted 47% of the identified taxa. The index and ecological quality values in the Aksaz wetland indicate that the water body is moderately polluted. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

      Bu çalışmada Aksaz sulak alanının ekolojik durumunun diyatome indeksleri ve diyatome topluluğuna dayalı olarak incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Örneklemeler Mart 2020 ile Aralık 2020 arasında yapılmıştır. Bentik diyatome florasına ait 50 takson tespit edilmiştir. Navicula Bory, Nitzschia Hassall cinsleri tüm örneklerde gözlemlenmiş ve tespit edilen taksonların %47 sini oluşturmuştur. Aksaz sulak alanında hesaplanan indeks ve ekolojik kalite değerleri sulak alanın su kütlesinin orta düzeyde kirlilik yükü taşıdığını göstermektedir. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
