      The article summarizes the management of three engineers at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of the National University of San Marcos in Peru. Engineer Mario Bautista Castro (1991-1994) supervised the construction of new facilities and acquired equipment for laboratories. Engineer Wilber Gil Benítez (1994-2000) stood out for the creation of the Unit of Chemical Analysis Services and the promotion of postgraduate programs. Dr. Juan Arroyo Cuyubamba (2001-2004) acquired equipment and made improvements in the laboratories, in addition to proposing the creation of the School of Agroindustrial Engineering.
