    • Abstract:
Based on the relevance of image in politics, the profile photographs and headers of the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of Spain's regional presidents were analyzed. The content analysis makes it possible to identify general trends and compare photographic attributes, composition, content, style, and semiotics, among others. The results reveal a commitment to the use of graphic design components with a personal, affable, relaxed, and informal rather than propagandistic nature and with a reduced presence of symbolic and chromatic elements of a political nature alluding to the party or the autonomous community represented by the president. • Abstract:
