      El objetivo de la presente investigación fue evaluar las implicaciones de la modalidad de estudios híbrida distancia-virtual en docentes de la Escuela Superior Politécnica agropecuaria de Manabí Manuel Félix López (ESPAM MFL), durante la pandemia COVID-19 para garantizar la educación que se brinda en la institución. La metodología utilizada se basó en una investigación de tipo bibliográfica, de campo y descriptiva, a su vez los métodos aplicados fueron el deductivo, inductivo y analítico. Además, entre los resultados principales revelan que el 78% de docentes sufren índices altos de carga laboral, por tal razón el 40% de estos dio a conocer que en consecuencia de esto poseen niveles elevados de estrés. Asimismo, se elaboraron indicadores para poder evaluar con precisión las implicaciones de la modalidad sincrónica y asincrónica en docentes de la ESPAM MFL, durante la pandemia COVID-19, de esta manera se elaboró un plan de fortalecimiento para la actualización del subsistema de formación académica del nivel superior.       The objective of this research was to evaluate the implications of the hybrid distance-virtual study modality in teachers of the ESPAM MFL, during the COVID-19 pandemic to guarantee the education provided in the institution. The methodology used was based on a bibliographic, field and descriptive research, and the methods applied were deductive, inductive and analytical. In addition, the main results reveal that 78 % of teachers suffer from high workload indexes, for this reason 40 % of them reported that as a result of this they have high levels of stress. Likewise, indicators were elaborated to be able to evaluate with precision the implications of the synchronous and asynchronous modality in teachers of the ESPAM MFL, during the COVID-19 pandemic, in this way a strengthening plan was elaborated for the updating of the subsystem of academic formation of the higher level.
