- Abstract:
This article discusses the fundamental problems of social planning. The term social planning describes the sphere of knowledge concerned with conscious reshaping of the world. Social planning is a form of activity aimed at achieving some definite goals, which are closely connected with the ideologies of social movements. It is impossible to create a socialist economic system without deep changes in the sphere of social life or a socialist society without basic economic reforms. This interdependence of economic and social life necessitates the parallel preparation of both social and economic development plans where social and economic considerations are equally treated. The socialist system based on Marxist ideology gives precedence to interests of the working class, the creator of the new system, the social force for which and through which the old system is overthrown and the new system created. The source of the social wrongs and inequalities is the class structure of the society. This is the reason why the working class postulates to abolish social classes and to create society without classes. The need to abolish social classes originates from the leading principle of Marxist ideology which is equality and social justice.
