- Abstract: The article discusses the positive as well as negative aspects of the higher education in the U.S. as of December 2022. Topics include the decentralized structure of the higher education, a decline in college enrollment due to higher college costs and greater awareness of the financial dangers associated with going to college, and the need for educational changes for the survival of residential colleges and universities.
