An Analysis on the Press History of South Azerbaijan. (English)

Effective execution of press and broadcasting activities is possible only in the presence of a free environment. As it is known, the contribution of free expression of ideas in mass media to the development of social, cultural and political life is undeniable. However, as can be seen in many countries, governments tried to put pressure through censorship or tax because they were afraid of the power of the press and broadcasting. XIX. The emergence of the first media organs in Azerbaijan in the middle of the century played an encouraging role in the development of the literary and socially weakened communication of the people living in Southern Azerbaijan, located in the north of the Iranian borders by separating from the administrative direction. Azerbaijan Turkish intellectuals have taken an active role in the development and dissemination of the press, as well as in educational, cultural and educational affairs in South Azerbaijan. Azerbaijanis, who have played a fundamental role in the consolidation and progress of Iran for centuries, are still struggling to protect their rights today. This work XIX. and XX. It deals with the general situation of the South Azerbaijan press and publication process in the century. In addition, the difficulties experienced in this process and the magazines and newspapers established for the development of the press are included in the study. Despite the pressure and censorship, it has been seen that the Southern Azerbaijan Turks did not bow to the pressure against them with the media activities they carried out in their mother tongue. Basın ve yayın faaliyetlerinin etkili bir şekilde yürütülmesi ancak özgür bir ortamın varlığında söz konusudur. Bilindiği gibi kitle iletişimin araçlarında düşüncelerin özgürce ifade edilmesinin sosyal, kültürel ve siyasal hayatın gelişimine katkısı yadsınamaz. Ancak birçok ülkede örnekleri görüldüğü gibi, iktidarlar basın ve yayının gücünden korktukları için sansür, ya da vergi yoluyla baskı kurmaya çalışmışlardır. XIX. yüzyılın ortalarında Azerbaycan’da ilk yayın organlarının ortaya çıkması, idari yönden ayrılarak İran sınırlarının kuzeyinde bulunup Güney Azerbaycan’da yaşayan halkın edebî, sosyal açıdan zayıflamış iletişimin geliştirilmesine teşvik edici bir rol oynadı. Azerbaycan Türk aydınları Güney Azerbaycan’da maarif, kültür, eğitim işlerinin yanı sıra, basının gelişimi ve yaygınlaşmasında etkin bir rol almışlardır. Asırlardır İran’ın pekiştirilmesi ve terakkisinde temel rol oynayan, Azerbaycanlılar bugün de kendi haklarını korumak için mücadele vermektedirler. Bu çalışma XIX. ve XX. Yüzyılda Güney Azerbaycan basın ve yayım sürecinin genel durumunu ele almaktadır. Ayrıca çalışmada, bu süreçte yaşanılan zorluklara ve basının gelişmesi için kurulan dergi ve gazetelere yer verilmiştir. Güney Azerbaycan Türklerinin baskı ve sansürlere rağmen kendi anadillerinde yürüttükleri basın yayın faaliyetleri ile kendilerine karşı yapılan baskıya boyun eğmedikleri görülmüştür.
