    • Abstract:
To provide reference for engineering decision-making, this research explores the optimal scheme of recycled aggregate concrete in the economy and environment. Based on the life cycle assessment method, the calculation model of carbon emissions and costs of recycled aggregate concrete is built. TOPSIS technique is used to optimize the environmental and economic indicators and then select the adaptive scheme to meet the economic and environmental goals. The results show that the carbon emission and cost of recycled aggregate concrete decrease with the increase of recycled aggregate concrete replacement rate throughout the life cycle. Concrete with a water-to-cement ratio of 0.47 and a recycled aggregate replacement rate of 100% is the best scheme If its performance is taken into account, the concrete with a water-to-cement ratio of 0.39 and a recycled aggregate replacement rate of 50% is the best scheme.
