En 1984 se publicaron textos relevantes en Bolivia: El Indio Santos Marka T’ula del Taller de Historia Oral Andina y Oprimidos pero no vencidos de Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui. Ambos libros propusieron una representación de la historia indígena con algunas especificidades, en medio del despliegue de una elite aymara que bullía en la universidad y el cambio de eje sociopolítico hacia lo indígena. El objetivo del artículo es describir y analizar las características de la escritura de la historia a través de estas publicaciones, una colectiva y otra individual. Desde la historia de los lenguajes políticos de Pocock, la hipótesis sugerida es que este ejercicio de escritura introdujo innovaciones epistemológicas y metodológicas, cumpliendo una función política al instalar en el espacio público una narrativa histórica indígena que polemizaba con la historiografía oficial. In 1984 two very relevant texts were published in Bolivia: the Indio Santos MarkaT’ula from the Andean Oral History Workshop and Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui’s Oppressed But Not Defeated. Both texts posited a representation of indigenous history with some specificity, amid the beginning of an Aymara elite that teemed universities, and the shift in the axis towards the indigenous. This article sets out to describe and analyze the characteristics of historical writings through these publications, one of which is collective and the other individual. From the history of Pocock’s political discourse, the suggested hypothesis is that these writings introduced epistemological and methodological innovations. These innovations served a political purpose by placing in the public domain an indigenous historical narrative that challenged the official historiography. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
